Sorry. I live on the other side of the world ( Australia).
The first burial was 1872 so a 75 year term would have lasted until 1947.
The burials I am querying were 1954.I am not aware of a monument on this grave.

Exactly what I was saying! ;D
If the Grave Deds were only for 75 years (as I suspect), then the plot was free to be re-used after 1947.
If it was re-used, it could have bee purchased or used by absolutely anybody.

99 years would be more likely.

But if the cemetery had plenty of unused space  it is likely that would be used first.

In the 1870's life expectancy was shorter?
So 75 years would have been far more likely.

But the actual term will be on the Grave Deeds.

I am trying to establish likely connection Lisa Warhurst born March Qtr 1954 Ashton under Lyne , her mother maiden name Holmes.
Baby Lisa buried Glossop 20 Mar 1954 same day same grave as Mary Patterson aged 66.
Can I assume they were related.
Have you  obtained the death certificate  for Baby Lisa?

It was known as "Exclusive Right to Burial"

Each local authority  would be likely  to have different periods of years,  some   would be  "in perpetuity"    before 1900

As far as I know there is no connection with my Auntie(Lisa Warhurst) to the others listed in the grave.  It was a simple situation of a baby dying and a grave being available to bury her, hope this answers all your questions.
