Needburn Farm, Methven, Perthshire, Scotland

Please if anyone is out there that would like to pretty this up a bit for me.

This picture is scanned, comes from a printed piece of paper. I had to scan it as a document to get on my computer.

It is supposedly Needburn Farm, Methven, Perthshire, Scotland but looking on google earth I can not see resemblance. One of the out buildings look more similar though no chimney nor gables.

This is the only image I have of the farmhouse where my great grandfather was born.

Does the image you have posted look the same as the one you have taken the image from ? I wondered if your settings maybe a bit dark or if that was the best of the image you have.

Do you know if the Farmhouse is still in existence as it may be worth asking if someone could take a pic for you

Maybe you could try scanning the image as a Photograph and in colour mode rather than as a document which is greyscale.

1. It is dark in the original
2. All I know is that it is on google earth if you look street view but it doesn't really look like the picture I have. If you search google earth with "Needburn Farm, Methven, United Kingdom" it shows.
3. I tried emailing a person I know of there but they are on holidays; received automated reply. I live in Western Australia so I do not know anyone there. I thought I had a phone number but it didn't connect. I emailed a real estate firm who had mentioned the place on their site but have had no reply
4. Find attached file I scanned into gimp then exported as .jpg file. 300 dpi and I made it 80% of size to meet upload size limitation. Scanned as colour.
5 I found one on the net that looks similar but I'll know its not the right one.

I've had a try with your second photo, I think it is a little clearer. I hope somebody can improve on this
