No, it was good of you to go to the trouble of trying to pinpoint the location and I still think you could well be right with Spring Court location but again it depends when Little Edward Street was built and when the houses were put up.

1887 seems to be the first official geographical recognition of the street although it's named on the census well before that as you know.
Many streets were given unofficial names as they were no more than lanes or dirt tracks.

That info would tie in very well with the idea of the open space or, as mentioned in the census, the garden.
