hi
ive looked in the ships list site and only found a ref to the ship keppler and the date as you've posted they don't have a passenger list , it appears that Canada didn't start using passenger list data seriously till 1865 [ which you probably know ] so without a first name as well as surname not much point checking Canadian national archives which is free to do , so started looking from the german end of things and according to familysearch site for emigration and immigration Germany it states that the original passenger lists from hamburg are held at the state archives hamburg and  every passenger from every country who left through hamburg between 1850-1934 should be on those lists ,also it appears ancestry has digitized the lists the only lists missing are for the months jan till june 1853 and ww1 years 1915-1919 so a bit of scope for you to follow up .
