That's possibly Ballincollig barracks, outside Cork.

Does it say where he was discharged from and intended address?

The address is Balsall Street,  Berkswell, Nr Coventry which is also where his father and the family were mentioned as living earlier.  Sorry I should have added that it looks as though it's been written in pencil.

I think that 1913 Coventry RD death is his.  ::)

very interesting as far as I know there is no Robert in the family. I wonder if for some reason he  changed his name for some reason. he was my grandfathers brother and until the other day I was led to believe he was lost in battle.   thank you.

It's intriguing.

We know the army man is yours and it looks as though Robert is him. I wonder if he used that name to get married - perhaps without permission.

thank you for the new information it gets more odd . why would the same person get married under different names i wonder. he is christened as joseph whitehead, then down as benjamin joseph. and also as robert.
