James Armstrong 1920-1953ish
« on: Monday 25 July 16 14:02 BST (UK) »
Hi
I'm looking for a James Armstrong who came from Jamaica  just after WW2 and was pehaps in the Air force.
I'm guessing a birth about 1920- possibly as James Henry Armstrong
He returned to Jamaica and it is thought he died in the hrricanes of 1951/2

Any ideas ?

cant find him leaving eng on a direct route to west indies in your time frame there are a couple of remote pos for south America , what you need is to check ancestry for incoming passenger lists to see exactly when he arrived and what if any occ he had if its stated it may help in finding him leaving , just a thought he did he come over on the windrush in 1948 or earlier .
