Gwilts brick wall

An ancestor Emma Blakemore (1870) mar Charles Gwilt (1868) on 29 March 1891 in St Paul's Wolverhampton. On 1891 census they were living with Emma's parents William and Lucy Blakemore  at 63 Worcester St Wolverhampton. On 1901 census they were living at Heath Town Wolverhampton and have 3 children Ada Jessie 1895, Thomas Charles 1898 and Gladys Ethel 1901. There was another daughter Lucy but she died in 1893 aged 1. My brick wall is that I can find nothing else about any member of the family after the 1901 census, no deaths, no overseas travel, no 1939 register, they seem to have vanished. Any suggestions please as to where to go next?

Try searching just on forename, YoB and PoB etc - could well be a total mistrans of that surname ....

no sign of a marriage for the two girls ?

Maybe a re-marriage for Emma ?

Her birth was actually registered Jun qtr 1894.

There are some hints from private online trees (to which I do not have access) that she may have ended up in Canada, marrying a Mr Jordan and later a Mr Weaver.

Gladys Ethel Gwilt married Newell Chester Evans at Duncan, British Columbia on 24 Nov 1920.

She died as Gladys Ethel Evans in Victoria, BC on 31 Jan 1954 aged 52.

The birth of Emma Blakemore Gwilt was registered in Wolverhampton, Dec qtr 1904.

She died at Nanaimo, BC on 19 September 1913, aged 8.
