Help needed please - Latin in Irish parish records
« on: Friday 29 July 16 16:11 BST (UK) »
Hi all, the attached is a snip of a parish record for the marriage of Edward Clinton and Anna Mulholland. Can any kind soul tell me what the latin words after Edward's and the sponsor Michael Kennedy's names mean please.

Thanks in advance
Denise

Thank you so much, I really appreciate that.

I thought it was referring to military alright but that was pure guesswork on my behalf.
