Carrowdore Parish Records - 1914
« on: Saturday 30 July 16 17:16 BST (UK) »
I have a note dated 14 December 2014 to say that Carrowdore parish records have not been deposited.  Does anyone know if this is still the case?

I'm looking for a marriage during April 1914 - William Archbell and Ellen Saunders.

Banns were read in William's parish church - Adwick le Street, Doncaster on 29 March, 5 and 12 April 1914.

I'd be grateful for any help.  :)

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Do you mean Carrowdore Church of Ireland records? Not deposited where? PRONI?

According to PRONI the records are in local custody-

Thanks aghadowey.

I'm assuming it is Church of Ireland.  From your links, it appears that the records are "in local custody" which I interpret to mean that they are still with the church.

OK, no problem.  It's a connected relative, rather than a direct!   :'( :'(  Was looking to add flesh to bones, but not essential.  :)

If it's just the marriage certificate you want to view then you can do so online via GRONI- just register and purchase a few credits then you'll be able to see the certificate.
