Joseph Hood
« on: Sunday 31 July 16 12:03 BST (UK) »
Hi, I dont believe I have asked this before but if so please excuse. Joseph Hood died 20 May 1870 and was buried 23 May at St Margarets Roath. What are the chances of there being a headstone.

Thanks

John

PS His wife Catherine died 25 Sept 1866 so they may be together ?

judging from a modern photo, very little chance of a headstone having survived.

Some stones have been transcribed here

What were the chances they or their family could have afforded a headstone?
