Matthew Coleman

Trying to locate a birth & Marriage for Matthew. In 1911 census he is in Caherlag Cork age 41 b.circa 1870 wife Margaret & 9 children living Married 20yrs c..1891. Have failed to locate any records so would appreciate any help. Thank you

This looks a good possibility as matthew & Mgt had children John & Hannah(Johannah) so maybe adhering to the irish naming pattern.  Appreciate your help dathai.

Dathai in 1901 census in Ballinglanna Cahereag Cork I found John Coleman a 67, wife Johanna a 65 Son Michael a 26 this would be near where Matthew & family are in 1911 so I believe you are correct with the Matthew birth in carrignavar. Tks again

Dathai so you believe this couple are not Matthews parents.  I since found 2 other   baptisms to John Coleman  & Johanna Geany in carrignavar a Johanna 6thmarch 1869, Timothy in 26th Aug1866. Cannot locate a baptism for John or a marriage for him & Johanna. Had a look at NLI - would carrignavar be under Blarney Parish?Thanks again.
