Looking for birth date of Sheila Gale in India to British parents in 1924

Yes she has, which is great. I also have an inquiry with the Asian and African Section of the Library.
She was a mysterious lady.
Hopefully my mum will be able to see her relatives in the various cemeteries, for the first time. And put to rest her Aunty Sheila.

Sheila Elizabeth Glassford (sic) Gale, born 14 Jan 1924 was baptised at Quetta 26 March 1924, the daughter of Robert & Lora Duff Gale, father being a Major in the RAMC.

There isn't an entry in the GRO overseas births indexes so you can't order a birth cert from the GRO for her, but if you want an official copy of the baptism entry from the British Library it will cost £18

Hi there, Shelia gale was my great aunt. My father robert james parnell gale is the son of the late alan gale.  Dad told me that sheila lived at 21 Morton terrace,Pimlico, london for many years. She sold the property and moved to ox ford.  Shenevery married but had a long time boyfriend Mervyn and they went on a lit of adventures around the world. He died a few years ago before sheila. In new York sheila worked at greenich village hospital.

Just spotted this.  Lora Duff Gale was my grandfather's sister.  He was David Duff Alexander.  I only met Lora a few times and was in touch with Sheila (Christmas cards) and she visited one Christmas.
