looking for a second pair of eyes to pick up Richard Ibbotson on the 1871 He was born 1777  and according to probate, died 1874 Woodland-View Stannington.

My apologise I put the wrong Richards birth date. I should have said 1809!!

Could he be this entry - born 1809 Bradfield.  You did not include his birthplace in your post but this entry is in the Wortley RD

Many thanks for the help, but I'm not sure I have got this correct regarding Richard?.... I will try to explain

I have a probate record for Henry Ibbotson dated 27 January 1858 (died Low Bradfield 15 December 1857)which shows one of the executers as Richard Ibbotson of Mousehole Forge. I have another document relating to Henry's will that states Richard was his brother. What I need to find is a census record either side of Henry's death showing a Richard Ibbotson at "Mousehole Forge" to try and confirm a birth date. If anyone can help on this I would be grateful.

I have googled Mousehole forge and it gives location as Malin Bridge.
