WYKEN
« on: Tuesday 16 August 16 14:42 BST (UK) »
Hi there.

I am looking for details on a marriage in Wyken 1931 Jun 7th, Thomas D Turner to Dorothy Blythe.

Unfortunately I don't know the church and am hoping that someone will be able to check this out for me.

I realise it's a lot to ask.

Thank you

Hi you do realise that the correct way to obtain the information you require is to in fact purchase that marriage certificate?

But to assist, are these the deaths of Thomas D and Dorothy Turner?

Thomas D Turner b about 1899 died September 1963 Coventry v9c page 675 aged 64
Dorothy Turner born 8th October 1904 died June 1989 Coventry v33 page 20 aged 84

Dorothy has a short probate record in which it states Dorothy Turner of 15, Herrick Road, Coventry died 14th June 1989

Dorothy I believe had a sister Maggie, and in 1911 she is called Dolly

Thanks Lisa and Keyboard
Yes I already have all the info regarding wills etc but I was hoping to clarify Thomas' fathers name and occupation to confirm he was actually 'mine'.

Many thanks for your interest.

Hi I wish you had at the outset made it clear you had the details of deaths/probate, parents of Dorothy etc, have you located them in 1939?

Thomas David Turner possibly a Lancashire lad, but that certificate would really clear the matter up for you?!

PS did they have any children, no names mentioned if still living of course?
