Royton Baptism
« on: Wednesday 17 August 16 18:53 BST (UK) »
Hello
does anyone have the actual images of Royton baptisms for 1782 please?
I found that Thomas Whittaker baptised 22 September was the illegitimate son of
James Collinge of Chadderton on the parish clerk project but on Familysearch he is transcribed
as James Collings
Either way I think James was my ancestors brother, he had illegitimate twin boys to Sarah Marlor in 1781 they both died, then the baby to Sarah Whittaker who died in 1784 but he had married Sarah Marlor by licence in 1783.
Thank you
Regards Glyn

Hello,

It is definitely an 'e'- James Collinge.

Well it was a long time ago  ;)

We have it in our family now - different family groups have different spellings!
