I was going over this older post and I noted the reference to Miriam's father as "Uri"and "wifer of son of Baruch".  I don't know if I missed this last time or didn't process it...but this is interesting!  Justin, can youo confirm where you found this information?  I have her father in law as Benjamin so maybe his Hebrew name was Baruch, but Uri is a new name to me.

Hi Steve,

I have merely read the Hebrew inscription. I would agree that it is possible that her father-in-law's name was Anglicised as Benjamin. What is your source?

I'm not near my files, but I did hire a researcher on this issue some years ago and I believe there was one reference in a synagogue record to his father being Benjamin.  I wish I was able to be more certain.

I'm still hoping to hire an expert to help me solve this riddle...where is he buried and where was he born!
