I found a baptism in this parish in 1828 for a Margaret Going Parents Jeremiah Going & Catherine Donovan, on irish genealogy site.  I cannot find this family documented in Tithes or Griffiths or any other baptism/marriage records. Appreciate any help thank you

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Not everyone is on Griffiths

Hello,

Looking at the page it is very feint and I think it looks like a 'y' rather than a 'g' at the end.
With this in mind I had a search.

I searched for Go*y and got 3 baptisms in Irish genealogy, in the same parish - they might be variations of the name.

Honora Gourly September 1839 - sponsors Jerry Boury and Mary Donovan  :)

2 others in 1839 where the name is not transcribed
Danl ____. Parent Mary Gowly
And no transcription - mother Mary Gooley

The records are event more feint than the one you found. I looked in Griffiths too but no joy there - if you search Tithe Applotments with Go*y there are lots of variations in Creagh parish.
