Wendy

I have Elizabeth Gunning married to Robert Anstie. She was born in Doynton in 1720, the daughter of Thomas Goning and Elizabeth Ragles.  They were married in Bedminster in 1714. Then I'm stuck.

There is a Ragles mentioned in the booklets too. Lots of info. Many thanks to those who wrote the.

Hi avrilw

My Gunning ancestor is Sarah Gunning bapt 28 DECEMBER 1755 in Doynton and died in 1783. She  married Green Ford in 1779 in Saltford, Som.
Upon her death he married Elizabeth Gunning, who could be Sarah's sister bapt in 1764. I believe Sarah's parents were John bapt 27 FEBRUARY 1716 - 1786 & Mary Gunning from Doynton who married in Doynton in 1741. I have to confirm though.

Hi avrilw

I will have to look for John & Mary Gunning as their parents must be the same generation as your Ragles. My tree is Sturge on the same website.

I have seen the marriage in Bedminster of Thomas Gonning and Elizabeth Raglais and they have a son John Gunning bapt 1716 who I believe may be my ancestor.

My husband has Ragless in his tree from Poling, Sussex in 1714.

Have done our An*****y DNA so may be that will help find ancestors at some point.
