I'm trying to confirm the parents of John Bryden born 1801 in Irton. It looks like Thomas Bryden and Esther Stanger from others' research but I can't locate a confirmed link. John married Mary Turner in 1826. Sometimes she seems to be Mary Antrobus or Antrobus Turner and I'm sure what that's about. Two different women? Thank you for your help, everyone.

I think that the couple who married 1826 were underage given that the note on the entry has " with consent of Parents"

So neither had reached the age of 21 (this may only be by a few months, or possibly just apply to Mary)

If you get one of the Childrens Birth Certs born post 1837 you will have Marys maiden name.

I was trying to track down Isaac/Ruth Mawson and Joseph/Frances Mawson and William/Dinah Steel on Census with little luck.

Hi Trish1120, I have Dinah as married to William Steele and having Henry. William passed away on 1831 then Dinah remarried to Isaac Sewell in 1834 and having 4 more children. I'm happy to share what I have if you think it's correct. Just let me know. P.S. Yes, I have ancestry.
