Daisy Baxter Bruce Clemitson - Cape Town

Hi,

I'm trying to find out when my great grand aunt Daisy Baxter Bruce b. 12 Feb 1884 in Brechin immigrated to South Africa. I know she was living in Cork, Ireland in 1901 and by 1912 she had a son
called Wilfrid Clemitson with her husband William Fawcitt Clemitson so she must have married by then. On her husband's death notice it states they married in Cape Town.

She died on 10 Nov 1965 in Cape Town, (Western Cape), I'd like to verify if this Daisy really is my great grand aunt as I can't find any records for her e.g. death notice or estate document to prove that it is her.

Can anyone help ?

Hi Daryl

I see from your tree on Ancestry that you have her estate number - you could try writing to the Archives in Cape Town to see if they can copy the DN from the estate

Great minds think alike :) I have sent a message requesting details of Daisy's death notice quoting her estate no. I hope they respond.
