I wonder if anyone knows anything about this man who died on 15 September 1916, aged 27, and is buried in Edinburgh Eastern Cemetery?

Couldn't see him on Soldier's Wills on SP.

Can you tell us what is written on the MI please?

There are 2 possibles on Minor Records (SP)

1916    HOGG JAMES 27 SERVICE RETURNS / 122/AF 0114

So that leaves James.

Looking at the GROS no's 122/AF 0114 (James) would that not suggest earlier in the year when compared with John 123/AF 0350 ?

Maybe someone with better knowledge could answer that.

Hi all Uk Army Registers of Soldiers Effects
John Hogg 3rd Battalion Scots Guards died of Pneumonia 15September  1916 place looks like Millbank ....Regiment  number 15525...Widow Barbara

Tree on Ance....y has his birth as 24/3/1889 Preston Kirk East Lothian
married Barbara Boswell 11 June 1913 Edinburgh
