A real challenge

I have an old family photo of a wedding group, the photo is in reasonable condition. However I am sure there is a faded message on the reverse which may give answers to the identities of the group.
Can anyone please help in trying to retrieve the lost text.
I know it is going to be very difficult.

Only thing i seem to be able to make from the reverse image is a couple of dates is there something else u can see on the original? One date seems to say 28 dec, above that there seems like another 18 something.

Going on the full brimmed cloche hats and style of shoes this is more likely to have been taken in the 1920s

I would say the 20s too Carol.. There is no way I dressed like that in 1953.
