It was in the Chapelry of Brinkburn http://www.genuki.bpears.org.uk/NBL/Brinkburn/index.html

You can check it out on the maps here http://maps.familysearch.org/

Hi David,

I realise that you've marked this completed so perhaps you already have your answer but if not -

St. Mary's Longframlington, under Baptisms in Longframlington and Brinkburn -

Aug. 30 1767  Wm. s to Wm. Duglas in Westerhugh

Thank you so much Christine, i hadn't found the baptism as they don't seem to be online. Do you know what the Westerhugh refers to? Have googled it but nothing. I am trying to prove/disprove that this family came from Scotland

I'm afraid Westerheugh (usual spelling) won't help with a connection to Scotland - it's just a couple of miles outside of Longframlington.

Do you know what the Westerhugh refers to?

It would be where they were living at the time of the baptism.
