Well, pardon me for giving the wrong information >:(

I explained that Harry served for a short time in 1907 and 1890 before being enlisted in the army for WW1.  The service numbers I gave came from the National Archives website.  I did not download them their as there is an extra charge; I was able to find the same information on ancestry at no extra cost as I have a subscription.

There is no-one here to ask anymore so I am having to figure out for myself what's right and wrong.

Harry married Duella Hey in 1913.

I was very surprised to learn that Harry only served for a short time in WW1.

My dad thought he was there for the whole war.  Harry served in France and was a sniper.
