What I believe to be true is:
Owen Lloyd, who died on 9th November 1812 in Abertrinant, was the father of Louisa Charlotta Lloyd. Louisa "Lucy" was the first wife of my great, great grandfather Rev. Llewelyn Lloyd Thomas and the connection to my family.
The Lloyd family are very difficult to follow, since dates and supporting documents are in short supply on trees I've seen; not to mention all the Thomas Lloyds in the family.
I would initially like to know:
1. When was Owen Lloyd born?
2. Who were Owen's parents?
3. Who was Owen's wife - or wives if he had more than one.

I have seen some information, but I want you smart people to investigate without bias. Any information like wills, obituaries, etc. are most welcome.
Thank you.

With deep sadness,

Thank you Max. I have seen that info, but it is reassuring that you find the same details as I.

P.S. The habit of omitting Christian names for the ladies is infuriating, isn't it.

Thank you very much Roger.
That Royal Descent link gives a lot of information I had not seen before and fits with the facts I've uncovered. There are some other contradictions in trees I have seen, but those lack supporting documentation.
**
So Owen was Owen Ford Lloyd born about 1755, but didn't marry Dorothy Eliza(beth) until 1796. I wonder if he had married before? Perhaps another Mary as I've seen in other trees?

I really appreciate your help.
