Tobin/O'Brien Family
« on: Saturday 03 September 16 05:52 BST (UK) »
According to my DNA results I descend from Patrick O'BRIEN and Margaret TOBIN and I am hoping to find out more information about them.
I know Patrick was born 1835 in Ireland and Margaret TOBIN was born c1854 also in Ireland.

They were married 19 Feb 1873 in County Limerick and had the following children:
Mary
Patrick
Winifred
Beatrice Mary
Patrick
Margaret Mary
Thomas
Annie Frances
Barney

Thomas died on the Titanic and I know what happened to all the other children except Patrick and Barney. They appear on the 1911 census then disappear.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

The most important detail is where they lived (townland) but you've just said 'County Limerick.' It helps if you give us all the details you've already found to save us from having to search for the same information in order to help you. Birth dates? Census links? Who disappears after 1911 census?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

This site is good for Limerick
http://limerickslife.com/limerick-family-history/
If they were living in the city you could check the electoral registers.

Hi,
Try the town land of Bunaroy,  Grean.
Different spellings....Boherroe, Bunairy, Bunvie and Bunavoy, mainly Bunaroy.
