Can anyone see a connection between Sidney E  Mansfield and Frances Mansfield ?
Can anyone see a connection between Annie Wilson and Sidney E Wilson ?

Why do you think there is a connection?  If Frances married in 1928 it's unlikely she was born after 1912 so cannot be Sidney's sister.

Have you looked for Frances on the 1911 census?

Clearly Annie Wilson was born pre-1911 so when was Sidney E Wilson born?

Thanks for looking. I was thinking that Frances could be an aunt or cousin of Sidney. Both Sidney and Frances lived in the same street in Impington. Frances 1932 -1945, then Sidney 1946 -1959.
The son of Sidney E Wilson (Terence) married the daughter of Frances (Margaret Easy) and they lived in the same street from 1961 - 1972 .. maybe longer. All possibly in the same house.

I can't see the birth of Sidney E Wilson (too many to choose from in FreeBMD)

I probably need to find Sidney in 1939 for his age..... trip to the library, I guess.

Frances Easy (nee Mansfield) died Cambridge 1985 - dob 8th Aug 1905

There is a death registered for a Sydney Edward Wilson in 1988 in the Cambridge registration district.

Birth date given as 27 November 1909, but whether he is your Sydney or not couldn't say.

You may have to invest in certificates to clarify any relationships.

There is a Frances Mansfield in the 1911 living in Impington father William.

In the 1891 census there is a William and an Ernest also in Impington.  Census ref is Piece no. 1278, folio 29, page 6

Is this the connection between Ernest and Frances, Uncle and niece thereby making Frances and Sidney cousins?

Thanks for looking. I found Eileen J M Wire born Cambridge 1911, so 1909 for Sidney would make sense. Their marriage was in Cambridge; also son, Terence born 1937 Cambridge.

Still can't find Sidney. West Ham 1910 is the nearest date, and Saffron Walden 1907 the nearest place.
Need to find them in 1939

If Frances and Ernest are Cousins that would be nice. I will check it out at the library... the local library only opens some half days ...  but not today.

Looks like Eileen Janet M Wilson died in 1994 birth given as 24 March 1911, death registration district Cambridge.

I've found her in 1939 with hubby.  Enter the surname Wilsonl, both she and Sydney are there.  Chesterton RD
