Forster/Evatt marriage 1733
« on: Monday 05 September 16 03:51 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find out the lineage for Louisa Forster who married Humphrey Evatt in C1733 Ireland. Humphrey Evatt was of Mt Louise and was High Sherriff of County Monaghan in 1740. His first wife had been a Frances Forster - not sure if related to Louisa or not. A reference to Louisa says her father was John Forster of Tullaghan, County Monahan but that is all I can find. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Thanks very much for this info. Do I understand it correctly that the bottom line of your post indicates that Nich's (Nicholas) Forster would be the brother to Louisa Forster?

Quintin Dick, MP for Maldon

Samuel Dick married Charlotte, daughter of Nicholas Forster of Tullaghan, Co. Monaghan.

Their eldest son was Quintin Dick, MP for Maldon, who is said to have made his fortune as a trader in the Far East. He is also reputed to have spent more money bribing his constituents than any other MP of his time.
