uintin Dick's brother Hugh also died unmarried while his only sister Charlotte Anna married Captain William Hoare Hume of Humewood. Charlotte gave the Captain three sons, William, the Rev. Quintin Dick and George Ponsonby, and two daughters, Isabella and Charlotte Jane. Isabella married the barrister Thomas Crowe of Dromore House, Ruan, Co. Clare.

Charlotte married her cousin, Sir George Forster, of Tullaghan, Co. Monaghan and died without issue in August 1889.

The younger son George Ponsonby Hume Dick was a Lieutenant Colonel in the 58th regiment and died unmarried on 14th October 1866.

Thanks so much for the info you have posted. I think I can safely link Louisa as a sister of Nicholas with father John and mother Elizabeth Montgomery. I can't find a full list of their children anywhere or one that includes Louisa though or anyone who has a tree online that has her on it with them as parents. I haven't checked ancestry though as I don't have access to it.

Well it is complicated because Nicholas Montgomery married a Miss Archdale from Castle Archdale and he became Mr Archdale, and his daughter Elizabeth married John Forster, their children were
John..> born 1743, d 5th Oct married Sophia Wynch, their dau married Rev Alex Montgomery of Beaulieu.
Anthony
Thomas
Elizabeth
George
Charlotte
Dorothea
Alice
Mary

*Rev Alex Montgomery of Beaulieu was son of Rev M of Monaghan and he was uncle of Oscar Wilde.

Still no sign of Louisa!!

My advice would be to email   jharte2'at'nli.ie and ask him the cost of getting (via email) a copy of

Pedigree of Forster of Killegh, of City of Dublin and of Tullaghan in Co. Monaghan, Barts., c.1500 -- c.1804.
Dublin: National Library of Ireland, Genealogical Office: Ms.112, pp.82-3

they are just too complicated!!
