Just looked at the baptismal record for Charlotte Turner, daughter of Celia and John. If you look a few children down you can see Sarah Ambrose, daughter of Henry and Ann. Looks like Henry was a bootmaker. Not sure what this means yet as far as being related to one another.

This can't be your Celia & John Turner as you have them on 1841 census but thought it interesting
that they have the same names....

Have you seen this Old Bailey record dated 1835 persons named John and Celia Turner,
her husband John was killed

Celia Turner…..I was walking with him near the Obelisk, about twenty minutes before eight o'clock in the evening—we were crossing the road, and crossed from the Blind School, opposite the Obelisk, to go the Borough-road—I heard a cab………

when Celia and John Turner lived in London they testified at the Old Bailey in a case of a man who stole things from their house.
Staying in the house was Abbott King (he was the son of Wm King and Ann Abbott of Lavenham) who also testified.

He was a relative for sure but maybe another cousin! Lots to think about.

If this is the same Abbott King his baptism gives father's occupation Tailor

Abbott King bpt. 13 Jan 1814 St Peter & St Paul Lavenham
Father William mother Anne
Father's occupation Tailor
Residence Lavenham
Notes   late ABBOTT

It would appear Ann ABBOTT married William KING 06 Jan 1806 Lavenham

1841 census  High Street Lavenham
William  KING   1791 occ Tailor
Ann                     1786
John                1816
Fredrick           1826
Mary               1816
Susan      1833
Mary               1821

The census posted by keyboard for Abbot King, his wife Mary born in Norfolk I wonder
if this might be their marriage

Abbott KING to Mary KING date 25 Dec 1832 St Cuthbert Thetford Norfolk
details from England Marriages 1538-1973

Thanks again. I set up another tree to see if I could make the connection btwn Abbott and Celia. So far no luck of a common ancestor. I do think that Abbott and Mary, married in Norfolk are the same couple. Abbott seems to end up in Marylebone in 1851 and a few other London locations. He died in 1873 in Lambeth.
