Hi and welcome to Rootschat

The 1861 has an Elizabeth Watts aged 60 b St Mary's but she is a lodging house keeper

In 1851 she is transcribed as Watt b 1799 St Mary's - lodging house keeper

Are you descended from one of her children?  None shown on either 1851 or 1861 censuses but she appears to be a widow

thanks,
She was never married as far as i can tell, her House keeper was Mary Pinel.
She was a well know author, and poultry keeper, i am writing a book about her life.

Are you absolutely certain that the 1867 death is the right one?  Do you have a copy of the cert and does it give her occupation on it?

Was Elizabeth Watts her real name or a pseudonym?  The 1861 census has no entry for a Mary Pin(n)el housekeeper

The 1867 death is almost certainly wrong. The Elizabeth Watts who died on Dec 3rd 1867 was the widow of Robert Watcher and died at 3 Seaton Place aged 86.
Your Elizabeth Watts died in 1895, there is a copy of her will on the Jersey Archive site which was in the form of a letter to Mary Pinel, I can let you have the details if you PM me an e-mail address.
