"Find My Past" Fridays
« on: Thursday 08 September 16 04:04 BST (UK) »
Hello All,
Perhaps I should be finding the fine print somewhere to get the answer to this question.
What is the point of the Friday email that I get from them? I do not have a current subscription with them, but do not want to  cancel this email in case it ever tells me I can have a free week or something.
Thank you
Jean

It's advertising Jean. They are telling you about all the great new records they've put online to try to tempt you to part with your cash.  ;D

If you are looking for a special offer I believe that the £1 for a month's subscription might still be valid on FindMyPast.co.uk. Enter the code ANCESTRYHOUR16.

I think you can change your user settings on FindMyPast?

I must have done that, because I don't get the emails! ;D

I get the emails. I have a UK sub.
BUT, if I see something interesting, usually in Ireland, and attempt to access it, I am referred to the world sub page!  :-X
