Hampshire: Thomas SCAMMELL, born 1843, Boldre, Hampshire
« on: Thursday 08 September 16 21:23 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Thomas SCAMMELL was born c1843 in Boldre, Hampshire, the son of Richard SCAMMELL and wife Jane (nee SMITH).   He had 5 brothers and sisters John (born 1824), Peter (1828), Ann (1831), William (1834) and Hannah (1837).   I am aware of his being for the 1851 Census and his attendance at the Philanthropic Society's School at Redhill on 04/01/1855.

I can find no further reference after the latter date and wonder if someone can help please ??? ???

Thank You,

Hi

What do you have for the rest of his family/siblings?

The 1851 census is a far better source than someone's Family Tree!

Hello,

My original request stated that I knew of Thomas SCAMMELL's whereabouts according to the 1851 England Census, which was cited in the Family Tree as source evidence!!

The 15 year transportation sentence was commuted and he was sent to the Philanthropic Society on 04/01/1855.

My quest for information is really post-1855.

For the moment,
