Is there any way in which the following can be identified by address from the Census Records of 1841and 1851. I believe that they may be the same property. Can any one please help?

1841 Piece 939 Book 5 Civil Parish Chilcompton Enum Dist 9 Folio 12, Page 18 Line 13

1851 Piece 1933 Folio 55 Page 19 Parish Binegar, Village of Old Down.

It is my inderstanding that Parish boundaries may have been altered between 1841 and 1851 taking the Uphills from Chilcompton to Binegar but remaining in the same house.

Looking at Old Down in 1841, Parish Binegar Village of Old Down there are similar family names as in 1851.

Hi you could possibly be right but note 1841 is Chilcompton and 1851 Old Down Binegar Shepton Mallet so really need a locals input!

My notes suggest his children were baptised in Chilcompton up to 1844 and after that in Binegar.
My mapping software tells me that the centres of these two places are 3 1/2 miles apart.
Not sure that this helps....
