Where is this? #16 Bridge being built - Bridge over Koningshaven

It's certainly a very good likeness!

The Koningsbrug in Rotterdam started being built in 1860.
Popularly called the 4 Lions Bridge (Vierleeuwenbrug) after the 4 lion statues, one on each corner.

I am sure you are right Jen - I can see the fancy warehouse on the right hand side of the first picture you posted.  However, for the life of me I can't get my head around which bit I am seeing in my picture  where does the triangle bit on the tug go on the de Hef bridge?

From what I am reading (my smattering of Dutch comes in handy! ), the bridge was damaged in WW2 bombings.

Not really  I just happened to come along after Rotterdam was mentioned, googled 'Rotterdam Bridges' and there it was

It's by Binnenhavenbrug and the whole road in front(or behind!) lifts up.
