Leo Charles Byrnes
« on: Sunday 11 September 16 19:57 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a Leo Charles Byrnes born 1902 in Providence Rhode Island and died in Connecticut in 1981.

I have records of him from birth and in  USA census returns for 1905, 1915, 1910 and 1930. He was resident in Rhode Island throughout this time.

I cannot find him anywhere on the 1920 census  when he would have been 18 years of age.

He was orphaned from the age of 9 but was living with his step father, Charles Sumner Clark, after his mother died in 1911.

I have Charles Sumner Clarke on the 1920 census as a border but Leo is not with him.

Any help in tracking Leo Charles Byrnes on the 1920 census would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I couldn't find him in 1920 on Family Search. Could he be listed under stepfather's surname even if they weren't in the same household on census night?

I can't find him in the 1920 census but I think this could be him in the 1920 Directory for Providence :

Leo C Byrne photographer 51 Empire rm 503 bds 22 Wickham

The Clarks are in Wickham Street in 1915.
