I am looking at Ruth Cullens age in 1901, subtracting off davids age, she would have been 43 when she had him......36  when she had james.............i cant find a marriage for william cullen and ruth mcdonnel  and i cant find his death..........surely there would have been more children than this you would think...................

So........Ruths husband William must have died between  about 1888 to 1901?  does that seem right?  anyone?

James William Collen was born on 24 February 1881 at Cornascreeb:

David Cullen was born on 13 November 1887 at Ahorey (Aghory):

I can't find any other children.  The closest fit for a death I've found so far is for a William Francis Cullen, reported as a 32 year old married weaver, who died at Ahorey on 4 April 1892, the informant was his father William:

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1892/06038/4719779

(The 1880 church marriage record for William Cullen of Ahorey and Ruth McDonnell of 'Cornascribe' named the groom's father as William Cullen, a weaver.)

If the death is the correct person, then William was about 15 years Ruth's junior.
