Woodhouse Common or Moor is now Hyde Park and the university. Could this have been Leeds Common?

I expect there was once a piece of common land, called or known as "Leeds Common".

You want a map 150 to 200 years old at least, to find its exact historic location, or the area of land called "Leeds Common".

The common might be mentioned in old Manor of Leeds documents (locations sometimes described) or Manor Maps, if they survive in Archives, or in a Family Collection.

Seems there are lots of pieces of common around Leeds, with various names and some of these may have been registered more recently, or known as other open spaces, or greens ...
