What's the name on this census record?
« on: Wednesday 14 September 16 16:11 BST (UK) »
Hi there,
Could anyone help me decipher the 3rd name on this census record attached? The first two I know are James and Catherine, finding it tricky to make out the third name, thanks!

Looks like Dina to me although being an Irish census may be short for Geraldine if you're looking for a birth?

Thanks. Yeah I know Dina was what it is transcribed as but wondering what a different set of eyes might see!
Never thought of Geraldine, thanks Rosinish!
Any other suggestions as to what "Dina" might signify are most welcome! thanks again for replying guys!

Sorry, my machine kept updating stuff so am a bit late. I brought it up a bit more and see it as definitely Dina now. I enlarged it so I'm putting it up  ;D

I've known Dinas as Diana and Geraldine.

I'm only going by the fact it's an Irish census.

It may actually be a misspelling of Dinah?

If it had been a Scottish census there are other names such as Donaldina, Murdina, Rodina etc.
