As the name Clendinning is not that common, I will add this information here:

From burials at Taughboyne, Co. Donegal

Phoebe Jane Clendinning, died 1830, aged seven months;  lived Ft. Stewart.

I am also a wee bit interested in the Kirk family.  About all I have on this family so far is the following:
William Kirk , merchant, married and had a son, Henry.
Henry m. in 1859 to Eizabeth Montgomery Sinclair, dau of Thomas Sinclair.
Henry and Elizabeth had at least one child, Ann Montgomery Kirk who m. in 1883
to the Rev. Wilfred Weaver Shaw, son of the Rev. George Shaw, d. 1899.
Rev. Wilfred's brother was Dr. Cecil Shaw (1864-1913), of Belfast.

As far as I can tell, Denzil Kirk, the daughter of Thomas and Constance,  married Dr. Thomas Walmsley (1889-1951), professor of anatomy at Queen's University.  They had one son and one dau.
