Hmm - just spotted a very interesting household two entries up from Thomas & mary on 1891. ancestry has indexed them all as Tidy, but the image shows otherwise

Mary Ann Tidy    35 - b Balcombe, charwoman, married
Harry Streeter     30 - son [as per image!], general labourer, b Cuckfield
John Edwd ??    14 - son, b Worth. I first thought it said Fuller, but it could say Tullett

RG12, 829, 10, 14

Go back to 1881 and you find

William Whales    55
Mary A. Whales    49 - b Balcombe
Henry Streeter    21 - stepson
John Tullett    4 - stepson

RG11, 1060, 86, 5

Mary Ann was b Streeter, married Edward Tullett in 1863 and Mr Whales in 1880. not sure how/when she bacame a Tidy.  this could all be a total coincidence though, and I can;t see how this would connect to the Fullers!

Thanks to Mabel & Jon
Thomas' father was Thomas b. 1803 married to Rebecca Rusbriger: baptism 13 Dec. 1840 (Family search)
I have gone through the censuses 1881-1901 (Thomas is widowed in 1911 which would tie in with death of Mary Jane in 1904).
I have now applied for birth certs for Alice & George William as there's a 4 year gap between the 2.
1881 resident at Bay Bush Mill cottage Lower Beediing
1891 78 West Park, Ifield where all the family were given Ifield as they're birth place (lazy enumerator?)
1901 Rotherfield so a little further away in Uckfield which would tie in with place of death for Mary Jane in 1904 and that of Thomas in 1915.

I have not yet looked at the Wales & Tidey births, that's for later!

Hi
I think your Thomas Fuller must be the son of George and Sarah.
In 1901 Thomas  has his nephew with him, Albert Fuller, 13, born Crawley.
1891 has
piece 581 folio 140 page 8
Charlwood
Henry Fuller Head 36 Stockman Sussex Crawley
Emma Fuller Wife 32 Sussex Cuckfield
Birty Fuller Son 4 Sussex Crawley
Olive Fuller Daughter 1 month Sussex Crawley

If we go back to 1861, Henry is son of George and Sarah
1851 in Crawley, Thomas Fuller, 10, son of George and Sarah

I'd agree with George & sarah as parents for a number of reasons

Thomas consistantly gives his pob as Slaugham or Crawley - George & Sarah are in Crawley in 1851, with Thomas b Slaugham. Thomas and Rebecca are in Horsham

also

Marriage was at Ifield, 17 May 1874
Thomas Fuller, of full age, Bachelor, Labourer, residence Ifield, father George Fuller, Gamekeeper
+
Mary Jane Wales, of full age, Spinster, residence Ifield, father William Wales, Labourer
after Banns
witnesses George Payne, Frances Bridges
Mary Jane Wales signed her name, Thomas and the witnesses all marked.

My Thomas was the son of Thomas & Rebecca, grandson of William & Jane Simmons
but I agree that the fact he has a son George does make me question this.
I've looked again at the censuses 1841-1911 on FindMyPast. The more I look the more questions I have and have concluded that I should follow all Fullers from Worth.
There is certainly more than one Thomas in the area & possibly 2 both married to a Mary.
This was the village of my initial inquiries when looking for Ann Fuller born in Worth 1805 (my 2nd GGM) dau. of William & Jane Simmons.
Thomas (1840-41) is my 1st cousin x3 removed.

Hi
years back i found a  Tidey family that changed its name between Tidey and Wales
almost every event registration. I seem to remember that they were a family of hawkers or such like.
