Narrow coastal town street. Possibly Cornwall ? UK LOCATION help, please
« on: Tuesday 20 September 16 07:17 BST (UK) »
Hello!

Any ideas please as to the location of this

Narrow coastal town street. Possibly Cornwall ?

I'm reasonably confident the scene is West Country, possibly Cornish but could be Devon.

With thanks~001uk

This is not going to help much but I'm sure I can see a "half moon" shaped Island in the distance which may help with the location from where the photo was taken from?

The Island is quite high (not flat) & doesn't look like a "Hill" as there is nothing else surrounding it?

The shape may give a clue to someone?

Looks like Gibraltar in the distance to me but I may be wrong?

From the shadows I would say it's a view looking east, so maybe Penzance looking towards St Michael's Mount?

Hi Matthew,

I'm not great on geography but the shape of St Michael's Mount compared with OP's pic looks too narrow and not as tall or rounded enough?

Assuming that is an island in the distance, might this list help to narrow down the possibilities?
