Hi again, I think that somewhere in my memory bank I recall Brazing and Glazing are in some way associated?

PS look for Winifred Jones 39 in that 1851 Holyhead

Brazing was working with brass, probably quite a lucrative trade back then. Winifred (Annes mum maybe?) is another name I keep coming across in the family  :)

Hi again,  I have amended my 1861 William James aged 14 Nephew was incorrectly transcribed, he is shown on original as a Jones.

Thank you so much. I did start all the family history in 2000, gave it up in 2008 when my dad died. I am just so rusty and forgetful now(I have been told it comes with age!) It took me ages to work out how to even post to one of these boards again.  I will get there in the end, this bit as I said is a rush job, and transcribing everything again from a win xp pc to a win 10 laptop and new tree software is really proving a daunting task........you know when you are sorry you had an idea? ::) I may need to read up on a couple of tutorials when I start back into my other parts of the tree, so I do know how to get info from the census records properly.
