Emma Jenkins Newport

I have tried everything to find Emma Jenkins abt 1825 Gloucestershire according to 1881 census with James Edward and Clara , on 1861 Census

She is on 1871 census said to be born Glamorganshire  and is with son Edwin 1854  James 1861  and Evan 1864  and daughters ,Eliza 1856  and Clara 1867 living at Market street Newport She is widow on both


In 1851 I think I have found her with her Husband James a wheelwright born Usk  1820  and their daughter Emma Jane abt1848  There is a death in 1866 Newport could possibly be my James
The 1861 census is necessary to my research Any help greatly appreciated

to confuse further, the 191 census has Monmouthshire for her place of birth. By the way, Emma Jane is 3 months on the 1851 census, not 3 years, so this birth reg

Likely marriage in Newport St Woolos 4 Dec 1859 of James Jenkins, wheelwright, and Emma Lewis, his father being James, possibly a farmer, and hers Evan, a labourer.

Thankyou both Curious how you found details of the marriage Where would I find them I would like to see if there are any addresses on there

FindMyPast has an amount of parish records available. Address was St Woolos for both, and the marriage was 1849 not 59. Sorry about that and the census I mentioned was 1891.
