death notices

Hi,

I am hoping someone will be able to help me, look for a death notice for a Victor Allenby Jones, accidentally killed in a road accident June 17th 1961, aged 19 in Prestatyn. also there was also an inquest published, but can't remember what paper this would have been in, as it happened before I was born.

There is almost nothing online for this sort of date.

Denbighshire Archives (in Ruthin) hold the papers that would cover Prestatyn, so your best bet is to ask them for advice. As you know the exact date of death, they might be willing to do a quick lookup for you. Try this contact form ...

The publishers of the Rhyl Journal  may also have copies of the newspaper at their office, which I think  is now at Mold.   have a look at their website.
