James Nugent Elizabeth Macken marriage. 1883ish.

I think James Nugent is one of my Great Grand Uncles but I need to see his parents or father and townland to confirm, unfortunately I can't find his marriage in the Civil Registrations.

Hoping his parents are Francis Nugent and Margaret Keogan/Coyle Ballinavine.
Nugents local parish is Collinstown but I don't know if it was also Elizabeth Macken's.
Civil District Delvin for childrens births, possibly for marriage.

I have a bpatism for a James Nugent 17 th Feb 1854 in Castlepollard Westmeath
But the parents are down as John Macken and Mary Macken
There is also a baptism 10th October 1853 of  James Nugent in Collinstown Westmeath to Frances Nugent and Margaret Coyan

I have looked up the original transcript, as it seemed odd to have different names for the parents and it has been mistranscribed. The parents are Mick? Nugent and Bridget Devine, the Mackens must be godparents I suppose

Sorry, looking at the way I wrote my first post it does look like I was asking for his parents.

I should have said I think the James Nugent in the 1901/1911 Census is my Great Grand Uncle etc.


These Nugents are so very very good at not getting registered they have me addled.

There is a Walter Macken on Griffith's Valuation in Cummerstown, but none in 1901 Census.
I think this James married into the Macken farm.
