Abraham Denny in St. Patrick's Gateway Centre Graveyard
« on: Monday 26 September 16 14:22 BST (UK) »
I am working as a part-time researcher in St. Patrick's Gateway Centre in Waterford and I am having trouble with a tomb. In the Graveyard there is a box tomb for a Abraham Denny who died 29th September 1857 aged 84. However I can't find any details on who he is or if he has any connection to the Denny family who made the sausages. I believe he might given his tomb is next to the grave of Richard Denny and possibly John Hall Denny's first wife Rosannia.

Any information would be welcome.

His name is here http://census.nationalarchives.ie/search/dw/home.jsp but I can never work out if these records survived or not.

Thanks for the info

I can rule out the architect and the one in England.

The marriage is still possible, he would 32 years old.
The Abraham bootmaker again could be him, sadly not of the sources give his age so it makes it hard to tell

Also noticed that Richard Denny, had a brother called Abraham who in turn had a son called Abraham, so maybe the Abraham in St. Patrick's might be Richard Denny's nephew
