Not the Marjorie I'm looking for as according to the 1911 census she was born Thornaby but there appears to be no birth registered.

This could be a possibility

Daily Gazette for Middlesbrough 14th October 1940

Scouting and Guiding were represented at The Avenue Wesley Church Middlesbrough, today, for the wedding of Miss Marjorie Sanderson, of Middlesbrough, and Gunner Aubrey William Bowyer, of the Royal Artillery.
The bride and her sister Irene, who was bridesmaid, have both belonged to The Avenue Guide Company, and their brothers, Aircraftman John, and Corporal Ronald Sanderson, of the RAF., who acted as best man and groomsman, have both been Rover Scouts, with two younger brothers, Raymond and Herbert as Scouts.
Miss Sanderson is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Percy Sanderson, of Middlesbrough.

There is a photo of them the next day (15 Oct 1940) in the Gazette

I'd already looked at that one and whilst not impossible, Aubrey's date of birth is 05 Aug 1918, which would make him considerably younger that the Marjorie we're looking for.  Also her father was Tom.

I'd noticed earlier that in 1881 Tom lived on the same street as my Great Grandad and was a similar age - I wonder if that's who used to cut his hair?  ;D

Is this her?

Marjorie Sanderson
born 1905
baptized 19.3.1905 Hartlepool
Par. Thomas William and Annie Eliza.

I can see she is with Elizabeth  in the 1911 census and her mother is from Hartlepool.

If Tom is a barber them forget the baptism in Hartlepool, I have found them on the 1911 census still in Hartlepool. Do you have the names of the mother and brothers and sisters?

There is a member on Ancestry who says they are married to one of Tom Sanderson's Great Grandson's - perhaps they can assist?
