Boreham Essex monuments
« on: Wednesday 28 September 16 05:52 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know if there is an inventory of the graves in St Andrews Church Boreham
I'm looking for Thomas Judd who died 1730 his wife Rose nee Collins in 1719.
From the will of Thomas he had a second wife Elizabeth, marriage not found at Boreham.

Perhaps they are looking to see if Elizabeth is mentioned on the headstone.

Yes, I mean a plan of the graves.
Son John was the High Sheriff of Essex, thought they might have a monument or at least a gravestone.

it would be worthwhile getting in touch with boreham parish council at www.borehamparishcouncil.co.uk as they may be able to tell you about a grave plan if not hopefully they can point you in the right direction for help .

If you haven't found out already there is a large tomb on the south side of the church to the Judd family, the front panel which I assume is to the said Thomas although I cannot read the inscription from my photo, the side panel mentions a John Judd a son died aged 66 Sept. 1809? Elizabeth late of Great Baddow no date, a David Pryer formerly of Broomfield Lodge 1840? Hope this is some help.
