Leeds Burial Help

Can anyone help me locate a burial or any more information about the death of my great grandfather Walter Smith who died 22 February 1962 at Chapel Allerton hospital in Leeds.

Did Walter live in Leeds?  If so it might be an idea to contact the cemetery nearest to his home address.

Try looking for an Obituary notice in the Yorkshire Evening Post, copies are held at Leeds Central Library.

In 1962 it's possible Walter was cremated either at Lawnswood or Cottingley Hall Crematorium
